This programme makes you fluent at the tissue-to-slide workflow. You start with raw tissue and end with stained, mounted, interpretable slides — covering every step that pathologists, histotechnicians, and life-science researchers depend on.

What you will learn

Tissue fixation, processing, and paraffin embedding
Microtome sectioning, ribbon handling, and slide mounting
Routine H&E staining plus special stains (PAS, Masson's Trichrome, AgNOR)
Brightfield, phase-contrast, and fluorescence microscopy fundamentals
Slide reading — normal architecture vs disease changes (introductory level)
Documentation through digital microscopy and image software (e.g. ImageJ)
